   I've seen multiple takes on twitter about this situation but ultimately both parties are at fault. Wife needs to grow a spine (communicate up front) and be comfortable enjoying her hobbies without the explicit participation of her family. Husband needs to stop acting like an asshole and show enthusiasm for something his wife is excited about, even if he wouldn't care otherwise (as I'm sure she's done for his interests).

     Men need to understand that most women need overt support and encouragement. Women need to understand that men are a bit emotionally autistic and need to be told how they should act

     @mushroom_soup dude relationships are compromise. I do a lot of dumb shit my wife loves and you know what in turn she puts up with me doing redneck shit with the neighbors and playing DnD on voice chat. That's how shit works
