     Same with Big Bang Theory ... I'm sure it's even easier to edit out laugh tracks automagically with machine learning algos now.
     
     Most sitcoms were/are complete and utter garbage.

     @djsumdog @Zerglingman @Jdogg247 Yeah they actually were. I think one of the last real audience ones was Yes Minister and you can hear the different and joke-appropriate kinds of laughter instead of seals hooting on command. Watching the actors trying not to get pissed off when the audience fucks their delivery or visibly not corpsing with great effort is entertainment in itself.
