@ooignignoktoo @coolboymew @Economic_Hitman two years until the 6502 design is no longer copyrighted (although particular implementation designs may still have IP protection). Maybe twelve before 65816 the same. And I'm sure that there are open VHDL and/or Verilog implementations of each floor FPGA use. Certainly the extensions of each for the NES and SNES can be added to those.

I never had an Amiga personally they were big in Europe though. I wanted to try AmigaOS on an old Powermac g5 I had but I ended up selling the power mac before I got to try and test it. Not that I'm really upset the thing was a power guzzler and PowerPC in 2013 was a really limited platform for support.cool_boy_mew likes this.
