   The conservative and libertarian propaganda wouldn't work so well if it seemed like the government was really concerned about the people and we didn't have an establishment that was fine with them doing such a shitty job. Provide universal health care, make housing and college more affordable, move us from fossil fuels to nuclear, mass transit and battery cars. Tax billionaires out of existence. People would suddenly become much more laid back about trans issues, DEI, abortion and gun control.
