   city is picking up the stuff we put on the curb already. I was hoping I could mulch some of it up before they got to it. Thought they'd have plenty of other work outside of our street. Oh well. I have plenty I guess.

     @Flick ah trash is a private company that has special protections from government. This is the government themselves, but yeah I am surprised (and a little bummed) they are here on the first day of cleanup.

     @Flick they may have paid a bunch of contractors to speed up the cleanup instead of sending their normal trucks around. I don't really know. It's faster than I expected that's for sure.

     @thatguyoverthere I remember reading once that you have teams of roaming contractors that follow bad weather around because they know they can get work doing stuff like that, fixing rooves and so on.

     @Flick yeah I imagine hurricane and tornado season in places where the storms tend to deal the most damage have a market need. This will likely be all local contractors. I don't think anyone saw anything like this storm happening. We got no warning. It was very short (10 - 15 minutes), and at least on my property most of the damage seems to have happened in the first 5 minutes or so.
