@BroDrillard @Terry @InceptionState @white_male Bread and circuses worked because the state gave them bread and entertaining circuses. Now you can't afford bread and the circuses are boring and used to lecture and scold the masses.

I don't think they're stupid, I think they're just evil and overconfident in their power. Hanlon's Razor is as worthless a heuristic when society is this far gone.
