     @c00p @thatguyoverthere that's not a wasp hive, that's a hornet hive, also most common wasp around here makes papery thin chambers that just hang off the side of buildings and overhangs and stuff

     @Zealist @c00p I don't know how we never saw that thing up there before the storm or how it didn't fall. I think it's on a branch that is wedged into the tree, but that one is also in my yard. The nest looks like it is moving a bit with the wind so I don't trust that it won't fall this week

     @thatguyoverthere @c00p does it have hornets coming and going? i found a dead empty hive once and laquered it and put it up in my room as a decoration a long long time ago

     @c00p @Zealist I think it must have had several branches below it to hide it from me. I would not be even remotely concerned if it didn't look like the next strong breeze might bring it down. Hopefully they realize the hive is compromised and go somewhere else

     @Zealist @c00p yeah I know... It's still pretty high up there. I have a spray that might reach made out of peppermint oil that was quite effective against paper wasps. I may give it a try one day. I gotta try and make sure I do it when they are home.
