   getting pretty dark. We've been getting teased with storms every day for a few days now. Seems we're getting hit finally. Hopefully nothing gets damaged but we really need some damn rain so I am happy it's here

     too much too much too much. The wind dealt a significant amount of damage. My property seems the worst hit on the street. We are also the only property with dozens of trees so I think it's just a matter of numbers. The neighbors tree broke just above his fence line and crashed through my fence. The chicken fence was pinned in several spots, and the entire garden was covered in maple. Luckily no structures or animals were hurt, although for a while all the birds were out having the time of their lives. Now I still have 4 ducks to catch, but I managed to get the fence back up and the chickens actually just kind of wandered back in to play with the compost.
