     I came here from image boards and expected it to fit withing their "hugbox or hellsite" dichotomy, but it's able to do both in excellent moderation, and avoid being completely filled with shills, cp advertisements, and ancient drama that oldfags constantly bring up and restoke and newfags can't possibly understand. Those things still happen of course, but they're not all consuming like they are on your average hellsite image board. I still visit a few comfy image boards I like occasionally, but fedi has basically become the only form of online forum I use anymore.

     I'm an oldtime 4chan user and had no idea what to expect. Honestly, everyone has been super chill and cool here. @Boomerman helped show me the ropes and I think I'll just have to stick around :)

     It's really cool and the internet feels fun again.
