You're absolutely retarded. Catholics do not worship the pope, they see him as the highest member of the church. They respect him greatly. There is no worshipping. Now, if he commits greats acts he can become a Saint and they can pray that he will go to God for them and ask for his favor. I see issue with that, as in the Bible Jesus clearly says "no man may come to the Father but by me." Despite that it still isn't worship. They ask saints for intercession.

If any pope were to make a blatantly heretical ex cathedra pronouncement on faith and morals I'd have to take sedevacantism more seriously, but the doctrine of papal infallibility does not apply to casual remarks or encyclicals.

There are also verses in the NT that tell you to be aware of false teachers/leaders that are leading flocks astray and to avoid them. My understanding of that verse is "see them for the hypocrites that they are" but it doesn't say anything about remaining faithful to leaders that are clearly leading their flocks astray.

I agree it is much more than just men, the problem is there is one absolutely fallible man who currently holds the position and is working to turn the Catholic church into the next globohomo sacrifice just like the leaders of most other denominations have done lately.
