     @DEERBLOOD If you lead w/ it then they don’t like it, it’s gotten worse w/ millennial women who aren’t married. The higher you climb on the ladder, the more it smarts when you tell them. We’ve got a 9-year gap, and it’s mostly a non-issue.

     @DEERBLOOD @WashedOutGundamPilot that's my aunt and uncle, and they've been together for 20 years now. they're one of 3 couples in my entire family (both sides) that haven't been divorced.

     @BroDrillard 3 to 4 was kinda how my parents’ generation tended to settle in. Enough to be similarly aged when meeting in school, but the guy has more life experience and command authority in the relationship.

     I think we’ll continue to see age gaps widen in marriage, because the men need more money, career progress, and experience to be a good pick for a quality woman. Not many ‘gimmes’ left these days
