Disinformation Purveyor :verified_think: (thatguyoverthere@shitposter.club)'s status on Wednesday, 12-Jul-2023 21:46:36 JST Disinformation Purveyor :verified_think: although it's late in the season, I was reading around online about how to clone a blueberry plant, and it seems like it can take 2 - 3 months for roots to form from a clipping (this was based on starting in april when the total daylight is still not really near it's height. I decided that I would give it a try with one of my plants. I figure if nothing happens nothing is really lost, and if it works I will have a new blueberry plant next year. -

I think you’ve got a decent chance.

I actually stuck a few clippings from a different one in some soil the other day too, but those bushes are tiny little things and the clippings are very thin so I'm not sure how successful that one will be. The clippings I took this morning are nice and stocky, and I was able to clip enough new growth that I could put a full length of each in the soil. The other clippings from the smaller one are probably only about 3 inches total (2 underground 1 above).
