   alright so I heard now from two different people that Google is going to be using Docs to train its AI. how true is it?

   because a) all of my writing for my books, including my Phantom Taisho retelling is on there (computer too, but)

   b) this was how I was able to share what I was writing with beta readers 😭

     @FujikakeRin from what I understand anything google considers “public data” is fair game to them. Public being whatever they define it to so…

     Best way to avoid data scraping like that would be to use something like Nextcloud, but that requires finagling with server shenanigans, which is understandably not everyone’s cup of tea.

     I think ProtonMail has a google drive alternative now? That may be an option
