evaporative cooling is thousands of years old

@BowsacNoodle @hazlin @teknomunk @sickburnbro they never even act like they believe it, they're just told what to do by the TV

@BowsacNoodle @hazlin @teknomunk @skylar all of these are very cool options, but back to the initial point; the OP is just a misanthrope and doesn't like people to not suffer. Any use of energy is "problematic"

@sickburnbro @hazlin @teknomunk @skylar Climate change hyper alarmism is a suicidal cult.

@skylar @teknomunk @sickburnbro Isn't geothermal AC, radiating into the ground instead of the air? I feel like you'll still need two phase changes for effective heat transfer.
-
@hazlin @teknomunk @sickburnbro @skylar Actually friend there's quite a lot of people who have done geothermal horizontal ground loops just for radiant source with a fan and indoor heat sync. Guys have dug loop trails in their backyard in a weekend for a few hundred bucks using PEX, distilled water + alcohol (anti microbial), a vehicle radiator, and a fan. One could use a specialty heat sync or even a salvaged AC unit's to have larger surface area if desired. If you have no AC, you can use it as a standalone system for cooler with sufficient fan strength and perhaps a duct to pump it towards the cieling as a central house fan and you can use it with boiler or wood stove system as well for heat if you run copper through and channel into radiator at alternative path.

@teknomunk @sickburnbro it's the best, for both heating and cooling
but it depends on local conditions, soil thermal conductivity, how much room you've got for a loop, depth of water table/bedrock

@skylar @sickburnbro
And that's why I'm looking into ground loop geothermal. Pretty constant temperature about 10ft down.

@sickburnbro and it don't work for shit when your dew point is 80
