I think The Escapist is one of the trash journo sites that is transitioning from writers to AI. Bob, who was all for liquidating the White working class as farmers and excitedly talking about having them all killed for years the moment technology rendered them obsolete, is now experiencing an existential crisis. Sadly he lacks the mental wherewithal to properly identify the cause and can only continue to blame is political enemies.

You know Yahtzee would be incredibly easy to train an AI on. His fast speaking gimmick unironically would translate much more easily because he has less verbal idiosyncrasies. When someone uses inflection or verbal ticks to give their speech personality, it is very hard to train that into an AI. His machinegun staccato is very uniform, and the only time he does express personality through his speech it is usually in a moment where he slows down and really puts an emphasis on certain words.

@Bead @coolboymew @thomasroiloup Do they try to use AI more? I was under the impression they hired other people to fill his niche on their site and then fired him because, well, he's Bob. But I mostly watch their videos, I guess, and haven't kept up with it for a while.

I lot of them are saying they are. I know Gizmodo and I think Kotaku wanted to fire their staff, but are keeping some of them around to train the AI off of until it is good enough to replace them.
