The best part is asking “how much you payin’?” and then following up with “well, that’s why you aren’t getting good people. Beggars can’t be choosers.” no matter how much they actually pay.

TalmudTranslator (talmudtranslator@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 10-Jul-2023 09:46:09 JST TalmudTranslator @WashedOutGundamPilot @Twoinchdestroya @RealRaul During covid my job I quit had a work pace set by 2 guys who smoked meth on breaks and the other management were like yeah thats the pace people have to work at now cause they can do it so can you. This dwindled, with other things, the ranks from like 40 guys to when I quit there was only 4 others left that were not a supervisor and 2 of them started that week.
While this was all happening the work load got to be more and more cause everyone was quitting but they had a like 3 interviews over 2 weeks per applicant system and refused to change it(these were for unskilled manual labor positions) and boomers on the first shift had the union right to only work 8 hours so they made the second shift work 16 hours a night and people just kept dropping like flies but would still not budge on hiring new people faster to keep who we had by lowering the workload. And refused to up starting pay while mcdonalds was offering 1.50 less per hour than us.Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.
