     That aside, I knew of 'gaslight' growing up.
     I don't give Tumblr, Twitter, nor any other gay-picket-fence community the credit for any word they've stolen and twisted for use in their own circles' nodding.
     I don't credit them this word nor any other word for which they attempt their twist, the inflation to less meaning, the transition to political signaling (ex. 'woman', 'valid').
     
     'Gaslight' will be kept. 'Woman' will be kept.
     Language will not lose ground; words will not wither away from our hand at the manifestation of their blistered, manufactured shades.
     The true and sharp meanings cut through the swords they've twisted to shields (God, our enemies hate true names, any solid words that keep them).
     Every word is preserved by us and will guide us.
     
     If we give up every word they steal, we won't have anything to say.

     One of the biggest missed opportunities was this cute blue eyed, redhaired girl I knew. Very cool, kind, fun, spent all her time helping raise her 6 siblings or waitressing in order to get her own spending money. I always passed her up wanting someone slim instead - turns out all she needed was a new environment, within a year of moving out she was perfectly hot. Guy recognized quality when nobody else did.

     @synapsid @nugger @sickburnbro I’d missed the real fact behind WHY I hate fatness, not realizing her lifestyle proved she was a hard worker and a dutiful wife. She was stress eating since the food was free and plentiful and the only vice she could enjoy when babysitting a full brood of under-10’s.

     A good lesson in looking past the surface and seeing more of the picture. I passed up a few solid wifely options because I underestimated my ability to direct and mold my lady. I wanted this 90% perfect girl, not realizing they never leave the factory that way. All you really need is 60% perfect, but malleable.
