     @StoleMyThundersBalls @pleasesaybye Rome once had a tranny as head of state. There have definitely been elites who were as decadent as now if not worse. What's unique about today is the extent to which said decadence can so easily worm its way into all of society through modern media technologies. Elagabalus could crossdress and pose as a prostitute at the brothel in Rome, but that wasn't a fixture of life on the fringes of the empire. Now TikTok trannies easily spread this to all corners of the globe.
