Alex Gleason (alex@gleasonator.com)'s status on Sunday, 09-Jul-2023 23:55:43 JST Alex Gleason @raucao I can't see the OP, so I'm assuming my server is IP-blocked. But for the record, I designed the bridge to accommodate the needs of the fragile and sensitive Fediverse users.
It follows Mastodon semantics and requires follower relationships to exist before it does anything with your posts. You should treat it like any other server, and IP block it if you don't want it fetching your public posts. It works exactly the same as any other Mastodon server.
Yet people are still complaining. 🤣 Why am I not surprised. You can't ever do anything good without someone complaining about it.- Token and Heavens Feel like this.

Râu Cao ⚡ (raucao@kosmos.social)'s status on Sunday, 09-Jul-2023 23:55:44 JST Râu Cao ⚡ @deadsuperhero Why is interoperability between open protocols "not good"? If you don't want your posts to be public, you can set your profile or posts to not be public. Otherwise, you're posting publicly on the open Web, via an open protocol that nobody needs permission to use or interoperate with.
As a user, you can block bridge accounts, or the whole bridge, the same way you would do it with any other fedi instance.
