     @Shadowman311 Imagine taking a dark fantasy franchise that should literally be printing money at this point, as it has all the political intrigue, T&A and monsters that made Game of Goons famous plus an actually completed well written storyline with a host of compelling characters in the books . . .

     @PorkCow @apropos @Shadowman311 I think it really comes down to the fact that the writers really don't want to be stuck making a Witcher or Wheel of Time adaptation, they want to have their own original production. I have only watched a couple episodes of the Witcher, but this was really blatant in Wheel of Time, where they wasted an entire episode on two gay warders who don't even exist in the books. And this is at the same time they are cutting out important plot information to fit the book into one season...
