   i feel like the fediverse needs real proper forum software that federates (with all the mod tools that implies, too)
   
   been running lemmy for a bit and it's got basically nothing under the hood for moderating

     every time i look at discourse and am like "maybe i should run this" i see that they only recommend a docker install and i cringe
