Bog cotton is pretty.

I wonder if you could make thread from it in extremis?

Not that you’d need to, there are plenty of sheep around.

Why is it bog cotton anyway, why not bog wool? We’ve had wool here for a lot longer than we’ve had cotton.

What did they call it before they called it bog cotton? Is this one of those ones like peacock butterflies that’s now going to faintly bug me whenever I think about it?
