   Bob Ross invented a paint gun that he used occasionally in the earliest episodes or Joy of Painting. He originally planed to take it to market, with the purpose of marketing it to people with hand disabilities, but he never sold it and no one really knows how it works.

     That’s actually really cool. I’ve heard some interesting things about Ross, namely he was apparently some badass in the military.

     Bob Ross was taught to paint by Bill Alexander, also known as the "happy German". Bill fought for Germany during WWII and was taken prisoner by the US, who ended up giving him a studio to paint in.
