     @N5PRE @wyliesau I'm of the opinion that corporations shouldn't support anything. Every dollar they spend on ANYTHING that isn't their product is wasted. I buy products because the product is good, not because they do XYZ.

     That goes for shit on the left OR right.

     @bjbroderick @wyliesau What you say makes sense. It would do companies well to adhere to a policy like you mention. Why would they want to insult half (or more) of their potential customers? It makes no sense to me.

     Money.
     
     It won't make sense until you understand "ESG" funds.
     
     Investment groups have slapped social justice criteria onto certain funding availability for corporations.
     
     That funding is estimated to be +$5
     trillion. It is a big deal.
     
     The loss of a few customers is the cost of doing business when it gives you access to that kind of money.
