Can we all go back to hating America now?
-
@PraxisOfEvil I always love America as a race, people, and historical nation, no matter how loathsome the occupation government may be. The American race is a spiritual race, a race born of initiative and ambition. Even if not united by the blood of ancestry, it is united by the blood, sweat, and tears of those who dared to venture out and tame the unknown and merciless frontier. We are a nation of deeds rather than titles. "America is a proposition nation" is a bastardization of this concept, where America is open to everyone who mouths empty words, rather than those who brave a real and perilous rite of passage. The closing of the frontier inevitably led to this decadence, particularly after the borders were flung open in 1965, stripping legacy Americans of any protections against being swarmed by unfit and envious masses seeking the certainty of wealth rather than the opportunity for wealth. Without any rite of passage, a trial by fire, you have no selection process for becoming an American, so the distinction is merely a formality rather than one of meaning and substance. My patriotism is a loyalty to this true American stock and spirit, not to hostile invaders and imposters, nor to those who betrayed said stock and spirit. The real America must be preserved and reborn in fullness.
