   A while ago I watched some of Oshi no Ko and by about 15 minutes in it completely lost me.
   
   The main character is a doctor being approached by a stranger outside at night. When the stranger asks "Are you the doctor of [celebrity]" instead of saying "I won't disclose my patients"
   He says not only "Yes I am." But "Are you her stalker?" Instead of threatening to call the security or police.
   The man runs into the forest and instead of... anything else the doctor chases after him and ends up dying
   • Machismo repeated this.

     I cannot imagine watching a show where this is supposed to become the male lead, he is so incomprehensibly stupid.
     
     Its clear he had to die in this scene so everything else was contrived around it in the dumbest way possible.
     
     I didn't enjoy Kaguya-sama either so this wasn't a big surprise though. I love mind games, but doing that with romance just makes me feel bad
