Something I really hate about working with women in guy-jobs is that they simply don’t love it like we do. Guys will dive into their jobs like this, they’ll learn stuff they don’t need, they’ll join forums and pick up tricks as they voraciously consume everything that can about their passion.
I’ve yet to see a woman do that the same way. I’ve never, ever seen a girl pilot finish a long 8-hr flight and head insite to turn on microsoft flight sim and fly another virtual flight with strangers online, dreaming of her next job in a bigger, better jet. I’ve seen that more than a handful of times in the men, though.
That’s something people never really talk about with stories like these. It’s an accessory for her, it’s a life’s labor for him (provided he’s autistic)
