     my grandad always wants to give stuff away, not take compensation as is reasonable
     told my grandad it was $20. he wanted to pay for it. eventually agreed to split it evenly.

     last thing to perfect this setup is to pay someone to run an ethernet cable into the back room through the ceiling (I have been up there before and have no desire to do so again)
     naturally the fibre box in this house is at the far corner to the computer room
