The more I study Japanese and Japanese culture the more I realize that Japanese people are able to do things that Westerners wouldnt even dream of. They can fall asleep on trains safely, leave doors unlocked, drop their wallets and have them given to the police, build wooden structures that last for centuries, keep family lineages going back thousands of years, and more. All things that we would see as miraculous to have in our own countries

Japans far from perfect. There are definitely places with trash, and its an aging society, much like America. America has all the problems that Japan has, but way worse and then with other problems tacked on. Japan seems far tamer in comparison.

@PvtProperty also wagecuck culture is bad in Asia in general.

The freeloader problem in Japan basically doesnt exist in any large capacity. Its socially unacceptable to leave trash outside, which is why their cities are so clean. They dont often destroy old buildings, and if they do the building that replaces it doesnt often look like an eye sore. They have rustic themes towns meant for vacationing, and they have lots of camping and hiking. Ancient buddhist shrines dot the mountain sides. Considering how much love a guy like me gets in the US, I could easily see myself living there. Time will tell though. I wont know until I arrive

They can build neighborhoods with mixed zoning laws and almost every area outside of the city center is tranquil and full of life amenities. You usually dont have to drive for 30 minutes just to do something social, which is not normal here. The reason the "thing, Japan" meme exists is because theyre objectively better at social engineering than we are
