@ChrisWere Thing is, activism against an algorithm is like screaming into the void. The only difference is that you might not think you’re doing so. You might think you’re potentially reaching millions of people. But you’re just being gaslit by an asshat algorithm.

I just looked at my Twitter notifications, a post from #XR, looked beneath to see all the usual polarised attack & sneer, with a few good voices smattered in. I’m tired of working within polarised space.
#Mastodon thus far in my experience, within current capacities, isn’t that space. It allows people to explore shared values, rather than defaulting to indoctrinated polarising views.
