     @c IDK if it was v. public but I wrote about one of my first worlder trainees basically having a mental breakdown after living like a rough 3rd worlder for a month.

     It gets to you more than you’d expect, if you aren’t ready for it. You get irritable, you don’t sleep, you’re tired, everything hurts, and that’s just after 9 days. By day 30 you’re ready to get hit by a bus, evidently
