     @MechaSilvio I gave them a full season and it was childish, bland, and retarded all the way through. Has that quintessentially western thing where it seems like it was written by people who’d never held a real job.

     The girls are pretty cute to look at, and that’s about it. Some of the music is good at least.

     @MechaSilvio Yeah, it didn’t remodel the rest of the season though. I did a thread about my gripes from E01, it’s not just the girls. The rest of the world, the adults are just shockingly dumb. It’s an empty world the show’s built. Feels like less than 100 people exist in the universe, it’s not fleshed out or realistic at all. It’s like they’re animating lesbian gundam erotica from archiveofourown.

     They start off the series with a hyper illegal, black ops gundam getting away, and when one shows up a few years later, matching its same description, the only people to act are school administrators, and it’s waved away with a technicality. Cathedra™ literally murdered an entire asteroid colony of people just for working on it, with the implication they slaughtered even more of the company offsite.

     And then a 13 yo retard just shows up with this Nuke-level contraband to nary a visit to the principal’s office. The mercury gundam world is dumb, and childish. It’s like the writers just haven’t seen enough IRL in order to build one that feels bigger than a living room.
