@slash @coolboymew The whole point of a console is to have specialized hardware that does something better than other platforms. I remember when Sega and Sony were specializing in 2D vs 3D games, respectively, while Nintendo went crazy and did a console with 4 controller ports.
A few generations ago some corporate idiots decided the "my console is more powerful" flame wars should be taken seriously, and ONLY focused on hardware power. They fell behind PCs, never caught up, and are still stuck in that marketing mode because they are retarded. Meanwhile Nintendo went with form factor and control gimmicks, strongly differentiating their consoles, and is doing much better.
I am fine with the concept of console exclusives if your console does something better or unique over all the other platforms. None of them do right now, except for the Switch's portability.
