@SnugSmug@locagainstwall This hits hard. :kek_pain: I've also stopped caring. There was a part of me that really wanted to read LNs/VNs/WNs in the original language. But now I just don't care anymore.
@SnugSmug >Localization only applies to anime Aren't you playing Xenoblade? Also has a dogshit localization (shocker, I know) Hell, games are usually hit the hardest while subbed anime is usually the safest
@SnugSmug Idk man, if you spend a lot of time playing these "shitty" games then it sounds worth it to me But of course that's something everyone has to decide for himself
I guess I wouldn't mind visiting the country at some point but it's definitely not my objective or anything. I just spend like 90% of my free time with Japanese media, and I'm not gonna keep letting these localizer faggots ruin it for me, so it's worth it for me
@locagainstwall Yea, the translation is awful. They make up random fake words for no reason. But I've passively learned enough weeb to be able to make out what's being translated incorrectly here and there. But it's just not worth the time and grind to learn the whole language just to paly shitty games. I'm never going to the country. I'm probably never going to leave the state I'm in.
@Immahnoob@SnugSmug@locagainstwall The only JP only game i still want to play is Ciel nosurge and its already being worked on by the most autistic Surge Concerto fan on the planet.
Kinda stopped giving a shit about the rest. Maybe Fate/EXTRA CCC but the gameplay is garbage like the first so i would just end up "playing" it like the first: use a cheat plug-in to one shot everything and read it like a short VN.
@Tamamo@Immahnoob@SnugSmug@locagainstwall "the most autistic Surge Concerto fan on the planet" made me laugh :doge_laugh: Does he have a blog or something where I can keep up to date?
