   @coolboymew They played it on the radio on the way home from the grocery store, which was really funny but also not my fault.
   BUT THE FUNNIEST PART is that some time in the far flung future, there's gonna be 20s on 20 and some DJ is going to have to explain to thetoomers about the time the titanic sub collapsed and everyone on the protonet listened to THIS 90s song and how it ended up on the billboard top 20 for that year.

     @idiot @coolboymew oh god sounds like how in order to explain wwII they have to explain WWI and in order to explain THAT they gotta go back to the old european wars and etc. It's just so much information you can't fit it in a quip, all our history is gonna be like that just tons and tons of shit built up over centuries that has no relevance to anyone at that point living, so maybe it's just easier to ignore history and forget it because the information that comes from it is so noisy anyway
