     I have watched the showcase, and it looks like the basebuilding from F4... + RNG based worlds to farm in.

     Hardly a game I can see myself falling in love with.

     @Immahnoob @Kyonko802 So I heard they ended up gutting the PvP mode of that game for some ungodly reason. Too many PvE players were joining PvP servers to benefit from the increased loot drop and then complaining that they were getting murdered, and Bethesda decided to cater to them for some reason.

     The difference between No Mans Sky and AAA companies TRYING to be No Mans Sky is that the devs of NMS got caught in the machine of deadlines and bit the bullet to fix the problem.
     
     The AAA companies are ACTIVELY courting the problem as a marketing tactic. They can get a smattering of good press by being compared to a redemption story like NMS and be able to go "Dont worry we'll fix it later we promise just give us your sheckles."

     @Kyonko802 @DarkMahesvara @rainignterror1080p NMS should have been an early access game from the start. Ironically, Hello games could have used a marketing suit just to put a sock into Sean Murray's mouth. He kept over promising and over-hyping the game.
     
     AAA studios can eat a dick with their muh early access or beta excuses of releasing half finished broken games. Maybe they should take all that marketing money and spend it on the actual game and Q&A. Quite frankly the marketing tactic is working because normal fags keep buying and (even worse) defending these half finished broken games.
