   Have you ever had your grandpa, over a Sunday brunch, casually ask you, “So, when did you decide to be gay?” It’s like asking someone when they decided to have brown eyes. It’s these moments that make me pause and realize how misunderstood the concept of sexual orientation is for older generations.

     @prismnpen You choose to act on impulses and cultivate certain thoughts. You have as much control over committing acts of sodomy as you do with anything else. Sexual orientation is irrelevant, your duty is to refrain from indulging in harmful appetites.

     @hachi @prismnpen Why wouldn't we have some duty to be grateful for all our ancestors who struggled and suffered just to give us a chance at life? We didn't pop into existence of our own accord.
