These days people aren't so forthcoming with their opinions on eugenics. Most of those who support it today use euphemisms or emotive use cases (detect/reduce genetic anomalies in utero for example) to garner support. You may not see genocide openly promoted by eugenics supporters today, but I don't think that means they aren't open to the idea. -

I think we seem to be on course for a 1984/Brave New World mashup, so I wonder how much of history will be preserved, and to what degree people will be given (or give a shit) access to historical records. I actually doubt somewhat the veracity of the stories we're told about history all ready. Very few people can validate these stories on their own, and even they are relying on education in methods and other miscellaneous "facts" about the world that must be assumed true in order to be able to function in society. There is also a lot of room in these factual stories for opinion to alter which facts are most pertinent and how to convey the story in a way that is politically advantageous for the story teller. -

Where do you draw the line? Does propaganda count? I would argue that few people (potentially no one) would willingly end their own genetic line without a significant amount of propaganda (excluding suicide which may or may not happen before a person reproduces [and would probably happen far less in a society with less oppressive means of control]). -
