     @DW2 Much less. They had documented rights and privileges and structures set up to enforce them. In the Spanish Civil War the Carlist faction consisted of men who felt that their more than thousand year old legal structures were vastly superior to a republic and they were right. The TeeVee and movie depiction is a lie because, well, we know why
