@feld @liaizon last week we talked about the reputation of Mastodon vs. Pleroma in a separate thread.

As an exercise in empathy, I took the time to actually spin up a Glitch instance, and my god, it's like an unwinnable vise, being choked and punished for seeking some extra moderation flexibility.

The options are there, but when I enable them, everything locks up, there's no middle ground. And I'm running Glitch, which should be less restrictive.

Am I looking in the wrong places for mod tools, or is it really this rigid?
