   Here’s my suggestion to the moderators of mstdn.social: Stop tone policing people on other instances. I’m not on your instance and I’ll speak my mind as I like on my own one. If anyone has a problem with that, they can block me. It’s not your job to tone police the fediverse even if you are a mega instance.

     @Coherence7521 Sorry, I won’t be revealing their name as I don’t want people to pile on them. I think it’s more a case of policy failure than anything else so I don’t want people attacking a volunteer when it’s the policy that needs to be reviewed.

     @chrisshaw Yeah, Chris, that’s the real problem here, isn’t it? That I’d love to have the badge of honour of being blocked by a big instance. Not the existence of big instances and the power differential that that creates which is detrimental to the stated goals and continued survival of a decentralised network. Great sleuthing there, kid.

     If you need them more than they need you, then you'll have to comply with their request.

     But I suspect you would rather like a big instance to domain block you. It'll be a badge of honour.
