     @ringo @dcc @dwaltiz Well, that says that earlier this month, an internal presentation included some plan to make something that uses ActivityPub. If that's the case, it may or may not end up actually happening (there was speculation that BlueSky was going to use ActivityPub and that never materialized but fedi was full of rumors about it and people were panicking), or maybe they have no actual plan and leaked that to nudge Twitter or to give their shareholders the idea that something like that was in the works. It could mean anything or nothing.

     I would like to see what actual information exists. I hear rumors and speculation, plenty of rumors and speculation but I have seen no facts, no links, nothing that gives any indication what they're actually doing. I hear some people signed an NDA but I haven't seen anything real about that, though, just rumors.

     hard to say, i dont have time for 20+ whois's ... but what if they registered all of them and are trying to flood the fediverse to overpopulate it with a SnR that is too high to enjoy the place. as of yet threads.net isn't even loading.. my gander is it works just fine in some special app and they're waiting to iron out some horribly intended code before they attempt to turn on federation.
