   Can anyone explain the logic?

   Why do some obnoxious types from other instances on Mastodon link you into their back and forths along with 20 - 30 other linked names... and all you see is: "your a fag," "nigger," "fuck you," shut up," and on and on, fighting with people I don't know?

   Do they get something out of making this long chain of people to whom they link these long exhcnages with other people?

     I don't think I will block a whole group, but I guess to answer my question, it seems to be prevelant in on instance.
