     @matty @Imp @PodunkPotato In the era there were a number of ugly, not-super-functional ‘conversion’ kits to nig up your cheap 10/22, Mini 14, or SKS into a cooler looking gun. This one looks like a precursor to the more tactical tapco stocks from the late 00’s….I don’t recognize it but I near guarantee that you could find something to turn your shit gun into an M16 lookalike at any alabama gunshow in the late 90s

     @matty @Imp @PodunkPotato Kinda sad in a way, we’re very spoiled today but many days were spent waiting for 56k modem to load ar15.com forums in the hopes of getting my dad to approve the purchase of one of these gay kits for purchase. To a kid, this crap was nearly affordable, and seeing them used on screen in a bunch of cheeseball media was always a good way to add to the allure.

     Now, there’s no need to make your mini 14 into a wannabe bushmaster, AR’s are plenty cheap

     I'd like to spend no more than $700, give or take. I don't expect to be getting anything crazy but having an AK seems like a better idea than not having an AK.

     @D00B @matty @Imp @PodunkPotato Imports will hold value better than the PSA’s, too. I hear good about the FN barrels and all, but I like having the pedigree of an EEuro AK more than the nicely finished, tight GFL/3/5 or whatever they’re called.

     Also that cheese grater/triangle stock Ak was the one that antifa faggot was using in texas before he got ventilated, I think he had an Ak union hat on too. pretty funny.
