   I do think that the new Ariel movie shows that something is going really wrong at Disney, not because muh black Ariel, but because the whole movie looks atrocious, the marketing does too and the new songs they added are grating beyond belief (look up 'scuttlebutt').

     @lain I saw it. Never saw the original but this wasn’t bad.

     Wish they’d said whether or not Ursula was right or wrong they, I had to ask a friend if she was rightfully or wrongfully banished

     @lain I heard that all the live-action remakes are an attempt to retain copyright on their old material, but that could easily be BS since I don't know much about copyright law
