@lottev@shadowferret The Virtual Boy was fun. I didn't get the motion sickness or eye strain that people talked about, though; I don't know how prevalent it was.
The N-Gage was ridiculous. Aspect ratio practically made for top-down shooters but the games looked a lot more like terrible cell phone games of the time. Nokia had hired dudebros to wear backwards hats and carry around N-Gages and hang out at malls to talk to people, because "guerilla marketing" was still on the buzzword bingo. So some guy would come up to you and say "Hey, have you heard about the new N-Gage from Nokia? It's got totally radical games and 32 bits! I have one, you wanna play it?" and he'd pull it out the pocket of his oversized jeans and shove it at you and try to get you to play a terrible platform version of Tomb Raider.
