   @niconiconi when I was in school I was taught about like six different forms of "artificial intelligence" which included things like expert systems which are basically just giant spaghetti balls of if-then statements codifying every known condition of a complex system. I think a lot of what was called fuzzy logic just isn't considered anything special anymore.
