     I bet M$ will try to snuff out the Java edition modding scene in order to sell more microtransactions like they do with Bedrock edition. Hell in one of the recent updates they gave players a way to report you to Mojang on Minecraft servers and if they find you breaking their TOS then they can ban you from multiplayer indefinitely

     I just find it creepy they're trying to track my identity so openly. Android for example wants you to be logged into a google account just to use your phone. I immediately jailbreak that anytime I get a new phone and log it out. I could not care less that it cripples 50% of their built in apps. They won't even let you use a map for directions without that shit. Super annoying.
