     @jon It's a disheartening feeling. I moved to *Europe*, dammit, and people are trying to tear down everything that's good about it.

     There's no point running elsewhere, though, because fascism will either follow or be waiting there.

     It's frustrating and it's *really* not what any of us would rather be doing, but we have to fight back, and shut them down.

     Feeling today rather like the forces of evil are pre-eminent in the EU.

     Not treating asylum seekers like humans. Seeking to destroy Schengen and free movement at the internal borders. All the absurd attacks against IT encryption.

     Feeling very down about it all.
