@jpmens agree. One thing that also could have been pointed out is that, in the case of FOSS, if there is some change that the end user doesn't like then.... Instead of complaining, they are free to make their own modifications to the software. This is a feature of FOSS not a bug

Takes more discipline than corporate-types seem willing to take on, but they won't get that from proprietary software.
